What is Satire?

Satire is the use of sarcasm, and ridicule to expose or deride vices and follies. Satire can be in a style of writing or art that criticizes or ridicules it's subject. Some satires are intended to make us laugh at people and society, but others make us angry at human vices. Satire is mostly directed at humanity or at stereotyped groups of people. Satire is not about giving advice, instead, it emphasizes what is wrong with people and society. Some people create satire such as offensive cartoons, articles, and videos to criticise the people they are against for. In contrast, some people create satire to save their society.
